Senior Consultant – Technology Risk Assurance at EY

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality day‑to‑day management of internal / external audit engagements and projects, understanding EY’s practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and support on‑site coordination for audit clients, including planning, briefing the team on the client’s IT environment and industry trends, coaching, mentoring staff, communicating with clients, and completing engagements.
  • Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations regarding service delivery, work products, timing, and value.
  • Prepare IT external audit reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of control structures, providing practical recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Discuss and resolve IT audit issues and recommendations with client management.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT external and / or internal audit.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related program.
  • Relevant accounting / audit designation(s) or working towards one (e.g., CISA).
  • Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, or other IT frameworks is an asset.
  • Proficiency using SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel.

Desired Additional Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with project management or IT operations in large ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP, or information security expertise.
