Role Overview

We’re looking for a high-impact Head of Development to lead and scale the technical foundation of GameRebellion, our soon-to-be launched B2B SaaS platform for game marketing and analytics. Reporting to the CEO of GameAddik, you’ll own the development of our platform infrastructure and guide our engineering teams—Backend, Frontend, and Fullstack—as we evolve our product.

In this role, you’ll operate as the senior technical authority shaping our architecture vision, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring the platform is built for scale, stability, and rapid delivery. You’ll work alongside the Head of Research and Head of Product to turn our long-term product vision into a reliable, scalable, and innovative platform.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy: Collaborate with the CTO of GameAddik on strategic direction; define the long-term architectural direction of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance; establish engineering standards, best practices, and a high-quality technical culture across all teams.
  • Platform & Architecture Ownership: Lead the development and evolution of GameRebellion’s platform infrastructure, including account management, billing, campaign management, and ad network integrations; own the design and implementation of core platform architecture within the GR Stack; ensure robust security, compliance, and reliability frameworks across the platform.
  • Team Leadership & Execution: Lead and mentor engineering teams (Frontend, Backend, Fullstack), developing future leaders within the organization; plan, recruit, and evaluate technical roles in collaboration with the HR Manager; drive effective delivery processes that balance rapid iteration with platform stability; handle ad hoc developer tasks as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Form a strategic partnership with the Head of Research and Head of Product to align technology, research, and product roadmaps; collaborate with the Information & Stack team on data foundation and integration requirements; help translate business goals into technical strategy and execution plans.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in senior technical leadership (Head of Development, Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, or equivalent) and a proven track record of success in commercialization.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and scale SaaS platforms or analytics systems.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, microservices, platform design, and AI development tools.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and making high-impact technology decisions.
  • Strong background in ad tech, campaign management, or marketing technology platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding senior developers and multi-team initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • $160,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
