Director of Production – Battlefield

Join Motive Studio to lead production for the iconic Battlefield franchise. Reporting to the Senior Director of Production, the Director of Production will manage people, process, and planning to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule deliveries of large‑scale multiplayer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, backlog refinement) and improve Agile practices within the team.
  • Plan and manage large‑scale deliveries, tying together risks, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate work across multiple locations, time zones, and cultures, ensuring shared goals are met.
  • Identify and advocate for tools and tech that increase productivity (e.g., Jira plugins).
  • Partner with design and engineering leadership to integrate AI‑driven features (adaptive enemy AI, procedural PvE encounters) into milestone planning and delivery.
  • Develop the team towards productivity, coaching individuals and aligning career goals.
  • Manage people directly, delivering candid feedback and resolving personnel conflicts.
  • Support multidisciplinary collaboration, ensuring artists, engineers, and designers work cohesively on shared goals.
  • Guide and facilitate change management plans, championing cultural and production shifts required to deliver at scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a scrum / project manager of technical deliveries and people management.
  • Experience leading at‑quality deliveries from Agile development team(s), working in JIRA.
  • Change leader comfortable with ambiguity and succeeding in a high‑velocity, team‑oriented setting.
  • Experienced in project planning, capacity planning, dependency and risk management including mitigation techniques.
  • People management and career development skills, helping individuals grow through coaching, mentoring, constructive feedback.
  • Focused on building trusting relationships and building high‑performing software development teams.
  • Passionate about games, especially large‑scale multiplayer titles.
