Présentation

We are currently seeking a proven and ambitious Business Development Director to work with our aviation client based in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our client’s aircraft management services to new and existing aircraft owners and have a proven track record in private jet or business aviation sales.

Our client is a market leader in business aviation and delivers on the key principles of safety and service excellence, offering expertise in aircraft management, charter, maintenance and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and sell our clients Aircraft Management Services to new and existing aircraft owners.
  • Analyze the progress of revenue-generation goals and make recommendations for adjustments/interventions as required.
  • Proactively generate new leads through effectively leveraging networks.
  • Actively build and manage key relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Lead proposal generation and presentation; act as primary client interface.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle to drive growth; manage complex contract negotiations and collaborate with internal resources as required.
  • Analyze and keep current on product knowledge, market opportunities and trends; share feedback to business development team regarding competition, offerings, prospect needs and product development ideas.
  • Identify and develop key strategies/initiatives for capitalizing on market opportunities;
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics including but not limited to: pipeline status, close rates and lost opportunities; make recommendations to improve performance as required;
  • Use CRM system to support and track prospects and clients throughout the sales process;
  • Close working relationship with Marketing to identify opportunities and nurture sales funnel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a private jet or business aviation sales role is required.
  • Post-secondary education in Aviation Management, Commerce, Business Administration or similar;
  • Extensive knowledge of business jets/aircraft types is required;
  • Demonstrated success in planning, prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales;
  • Ability to build sound relationships with high net worth individuals, building networks and filling sales pipelines;
  • Self-starter with strong business and financial acumen;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working well within a team environment toward common goals;
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or HubSpot is considered an asset.
