Senior IT Advisor

Arobas Personnel is seeking a Senior IT Advisor for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in Montreal or Brossard.

• Remote: Hybrid - 2 days/week in the office

What your day-to-day will look like

You will play a strategic role in optimizing IT operations and ensuring seamless transitions from project delivery to operational support, while driving continuous improvement across infrastructure processes.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and standardize infrastructure operational processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall IT performance.
• Support the transition of projects into operations by establishing clear standards and participating in handover and transition activities.
• Evaluate existing processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language to support stakeholder understanding and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and internal partners to align priorities and execution.
• Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and monitoring tools to track project progress and operational performance.

Required qualifications

• Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in IT project management and incident coordination within operational environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ITIL best practices or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience in IT governance and executive-level environments.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and MS Project.
