Senior Network Design Engineer with 12‑15 years of experience in Financial Services, Technology Vendor, or Systems Integrator environments. Focus on large‑scale networks, Data Center Networking, SD‑WAN, with mandatory Cisco CCIE certification.

Qualifications

• Senior network design engineer, 12‑15+ years experience
• Certifications: CCIE or equivalent
• Ethernet technologies: SPT, 802.1Q, VPC, Multilayer Switching; Leaf‑Spine IP Fabric
• IP Routing: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MP‑BGP, TCP / IP
• Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, MSDP, VxLAN
• Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms – Nexus 9000 Series, ASR 1000x / 9000 Series routers
• Platform knowledge on Arista Switching platforms
• Operating system expertise: Cisco IOS, IOS‑XE, NX‑OS, IOS‑XR, Arista EOS

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, engineer, design, and troubleshoot enterprise‑scale Data Centre networks
• Author design documents, engineering standards, and best‑practice technical architecture models
• Mentor and transfer knowledge to team members across the organization
• Participate in weekly design meetings
• Engage with project managers to develop execution and test plans for network changes
• Serve as escalation point during network outages
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Present network design, articulate risks, and facilitate decision making
• Maintain strong security focus and implement Network Security Concepts and Multi‑tier Security architectures
