Are you the kind of person who can both do your homework well AND captivate an entire room when it's your time to shine?

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will oversee sales growth for Le Germain Hotel Montreal. With strong analytical abilities and solid sales expertise, this person will develop creative strategies and sales tactics, lead prospecting and negotiations, and contribute to various initiatives that drive the organization's success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Draft and negotiate proposals for groups and business guests
  • Manage the performance and development of high-potential accounts
  • Prospect through cold calling, RFPs, events, and sales blitz activities
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the success of group stays and events
  • Maximize hotel occupancy and revenue
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to support local marketing initiatives and enhance the hotel's visibility
  • Represent Germain Hotels at trade shows and promotional campaigns.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or any related field Diploma;
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the hotel industry;
  • In-depth business acumen to effectively identify and target potential clients;
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail;
  • Autonomy and creativity;
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written, due to the nature of the role and interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, or clients across Canada;
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS (an asset).
