Your Role

As a Business Development Manager, your mission is to generate new business opportunities across Canada, focusing on innovative companies that drive change in their industries. You’ll collaborate with our inside sales team, consultants, and leadership to drive growth and deliver value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through research, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while nurturing long‑term client relationships.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding.
  • Develop and present customized value propositions that solve client challenges and create measurable impact.
  • Partner with consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders to maximize referrals and client success.
  • Coach and collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure alignment and lead quality.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of regional go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly KPIs and annual revenue goals.
  • Manage existing client accounts with a focus on retention, satisfaction, and expansion.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience selling professional or consulting services to mid‑ and high‑market clients.
  • Proven success managing the end‑to‑end sales cycle in a consultative sales environment.
  • Experience within a management consulting or financial services firm is a strong asset.
  • Background in finance, innovation, or operations is an advantage.
  • Highly self‑motivated, independent, and results‑oriented.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
