Responsibilities
- Analyze sales opportunities and participate in the development of the production plan.
- Maintain and adjust the production plan based on sales forecasts, factory capacity, and raw material lead times.
- Determine manufacturing priorities and work order requirements.
- Ensure that the necessary materials are available for production (Clear to build).
- Communicate daily with other departments and management to report delays and schedule adjustments.
- Provide accurate commitment dates to internal requesters.
- Maintain and optimize planning parameters in the ERP system.
- Be able to develop planning tools.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in integrated ERP and Excel systems (advanced).
- Ability to work rigorously while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach.
- Leadership and strong priority management skills.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in a high-tech or telecommunications company (asset).
- College diploma (DEC) or a bachelor's degree in operations management (asset).
