Overview

Associate - IT Recruitment Services Vaco | Agile Tech Recruiter | Helping to build top-notch technical teams. Vaco is looking for a Functional Analyst (Bilingual FR / EN) with expertise in modern technologies such as Rest microservices, APIs, Kafka, and more, with a specific focus on integrating various data sources.

Responsibilities

• Within an agile project environment, draft detailed functional analyses and specifications, validate them with business partners, present them to the development team, and ensure proper implementation.
• Act as the communication bridge between the Product Owner and business partners.
• Perform functional testing, support acceptance testing, and contribute to test automation.
• Analyze data, contribute to documentation, participate in end-to-end testing, and propose improvements and fixes to enhance data quality while ensuring compliance with security and confidentiality standards.
• Stay up to date with evolving technologies, demonstrate curiosity and innovation, and propose new solution ideas.

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in functional, technical, and application analysis.
• Strong understanding of data flow architecture.
• Experience with data integrations using API and event-driven patterns (Kafka, ETL), batch processes, and MFT / SFTP.
• Knowledge of AWS environment: Snowflake, DBT, S3.
• Familiarity with REST testing tools (e.g., Bruno, ThunderClient, ReadyAPI).
• Experience in quality assurance: test strategy, documentation (JIRA Xray), test validation (JSON), and automated test definition.
• Experience in an analytics environment is an asset.
