User Research Manager (Gaming - ARPG)

Location : Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 3 days / week). Relocation provided for candidates outside QC.

Employment : Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global PX research team, ensuring deliverables are timely, actionable, and high quality.
• Translate strategic player insights into clear product recommendations that shape gameplay, live services, and design direction.
• Align research priorities with development goals, focusing on player‑centric decision‑making at scale.
• Collaborate closely with product, game directors, producers, and design leadership to influence roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Champion operational discipline in how research is scoped, delivered, and embedded into development cycles.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Product Management, Psychology, Market Research, Data Science, HCI) or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years in gaming with a proven track record in product management or player experience leadership.
• 2+ years of people‑management experience leading PX / UX research or product‑focused teams.
• Strong understanding of ARPG game systems (progression, combat, player motivations).
• Proven ability to align research insights with business and product strategy.
• Excellent communication and influence skills across multi‑disciplinary and global teams.
