Our client is seeking an DevOps Engineer with expertise in observability and cloud environments to enhance their deployed platforms' reliability and performance. This role focuses on implementing full-stack monitoring, incident management, and container orchestration within a cloud-native architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and other stacks to achieve full system visibility.
  • Manage incidents, alerts, and response workflows to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery.
  • Configure, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Support cloud platform operations primarily in Azure, with bonus experience in AWS.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Go, Java, or Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement and enhance CI / CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate monitoring and alerting in CI / CD workflows.
  • Document operational procedures, architecture, and incident response plans.

Skills

  • Strong experience with observability stacks, especially O11y, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Hands‑on operational skills including incident management, alerting, and troubleshooting.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, management, and scaling.
  • Fundamental understanding of Azure cloud environment; AWS knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages : Python, Go, Java, Shell.
  • Familiarity with DevOps / DevSecOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills for effective cross‑team collaboration.
  • Ability to operate independently within a cloud‑native, multi‑team environment.
