GENERAL FUNCTION
The Hardware Designer will contribute to the development of new products and related activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements the electronic circuits of new products
- Documents the design
- Participates in electronic and mechanical design reviews
- Works with the low-level software team to bring up electronic boards and battery management algorithms
- Develops test plans to ensure production quality
- Follows up with Humanware's development partners
- Oversees product certification work
- Ensures the transfer of new products to production
- Collaborates with production on product maintenance
- Contributes to the execution of Engineering Change Requests
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of experience in circuit design and embedded systems development
- Technical skills: Proficiency in electronic design software (Altium is considered an asset), strong interest in new technologies, as well as knowledge and experience in project management (asset).
- Behavioral skills: Recognized for teamwork and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Structured, dynamic, and autonomous, adaptable to change, rigorous, and driven by innovation.
