Job Overview

The Digital Communications Manager will lead the Canadian digital communication strategy for CGI, supporting Go‑to‑Market and Employer Branding programs through creative, data‑driven digital and social media campaigns. The role supports brand awareness, market perception and demand generation across Canada.

Location

Montreal or Toronto, Canada (other Canadian locations possible).

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative, compelling and targeted digital communications activity and campaigns.
  • Assist with content creation, including keyword research and SEO.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the website and other digital platforms, analyze data and performance, and make informed recommendations.
  • Improve the overall experience of CGI.com / Canada, focusing on usability, design, content management and conversions.
  • Oversee the social media strategy for CGI in Canada, preparing campaign plans and supervising account activities, including creative requirements and reporting.
  • Utilize paid strategies including search and social media marketing.
  • Lead social media training and employee advocacy efforts across Canada.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of development in digital communications.

Qualifications

  • 8‑10 years experience in a digital communications or social media marketing role.
  • Strong creative and content expertise; proven experience planning and executing B2B digital and social media campaigns.
  • Understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, keeping initiatives on time and on budget.
  • Experience with marketing automation software (HubSpot or other).
  • Bilingual – English essential; French an asset.
  • Agency experience considered an asset.
