Job Description
Your Career : The Named Account Manager partners with customers to secure their entire digital experience. You’ll solve critical challenges in customers’ secure environments and connect them with solutions at every stage of threat prevention. This role drives revenue and growth and requires you to lead and drive sales engagements as an experienced, dynamic sales professional.
Palo Alto Networks is leading platformization with best-in-breed solutions that enable customers to build a true zero-trust security architecture and navigate transformations. To equip our sales teams, we offer FLIGHT, an immersive onboarding program blending virtual and in-person learning at our headquarters. New hires participate in dynamic cohorts focused on training without customer distractions to emerge as well-prepared sales professionals.
Your Impact
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles with internal partners to best serve the customer
- Apply consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions
- Create clear goals and accurate forecasts via a detailed territory plan
- Leverage customer stories to build a compelling value proposition
- Stay informed on industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services
- Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking or security
- Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions with value or consultative selling techniques
- Technical aptitude to understand how technology products solve business problems
- Ability to identify problems, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
- Ability to cultivate relationships with channel partners to enable channel-centric go-to-market approaches
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle and a structured sales process
- Holistic problem-solving with awareness of wider interdependencies and outcomes
- Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously

Compensation Disclosure: Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location. For offers at the posted level, starting base salary or base salary plus commission target is expected to be between $268,400 - $368,950 per year CAD for eligible roles, and may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
