Join Camfil Power Systems, a leader in air filtration and acoustic solutions for gas turbines, with our Americas headquarters right here in Laval! In this dynamic role, you’ll take on key responsibilities that drive our mission forward, including:

• Design, develop, and test processes for producing prototypes and long‑term production of products.
• Test products and processes and evaluate results to identify problems and work with a team to develop solutions.
• Analyze and improve existing processes and products, including updating documentation.
• Identify company needs and integrate market research to determine the goals of new products.
• Conceptualize new product ideas and produce detailed designs using CAD software.
• Fabricate prototypes for testing using different production methods from traditional shop tools and CNC to modern rapid prototyping 3D printing.
• Test products throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems.
• Sample different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best options for the new product brief.
• Fine‑tune designs until they are ready for production.
• Deliver product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.
• Collaborate with a global team on projects and incorporate input from different expertise.
• Manage and source stock for prototype fabrication and testing.

Profil Recherché

Are you the person we are looking for? We’re looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar field.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Competence in 3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Experience with prototype fabrication tools – CNC milling, 3D printing, traditional shop tools.
• Ability to present and discuss ideas to a global team and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Quick learner and adaptable to new areas of study.
• Experience in a manufacturing field is an advantage.
