Are you passionate about optimizing supply chain operations and contributing to project success? We are looking for a Committed Supply Chain Management Consultant to join our team at the Montreal Refinery. In this key role, you will participate in all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, materials management, planning and logistics, to ensure that these functions are executed effectively to support our business objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Administration or other relevant professional degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the oil, energy or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in procurement, materials management, and logistics.
  • Excellent analytical, interpreting, organizing and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with the SAP system an asset.
  • Proficient in English and French.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for relevant sites to resolve and coordinate the resolution of complex issues related to improving the availability of materials and services, while guiding sites through appropriate supply chain management processes.
  • Participate in end-to-end supply chain activities for the preventive maintenance of the refinery, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Work closely with site managers and warehouses to resolve provisioning issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment with project requirements and business objectives.
  • Monitor supply chain performance with business stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to manage delivery risks or constraints specific to maintenance or project events.
  • Prioritize based on business requirements and timelines.
  • Foster upstream involvement in the supply chain by actively supporting stakeholders in their long-term planning efforts.
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for value creation.
  • Promote commodity management processes.

Location and Other Key Details:

  • You will work at our Montreal refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East.
  • Regular work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work.
