Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll be the digital voice of ShampooHotel — sparking conversations, shaping culture, and turning followers into true brand believers.

As Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond, ensuring every post, video, and caption carries the unique tone of our brand. You’ll be hands-on in content creation — filming, editing, writing, and producing pieces that engage stylists, salon partners, and beauty lovers alike. From campaign launches to spontaneous cultural moments, you’ll help define how ShampooHotel shows up online and build a recognizable digital identity that inspires loyalty and excitement.

Ultimately, your work will shape how the world sees ShampooHotel and how our growing community connects with us.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Strategy & Community

  • Build a monthly content calendar that syncs with launches, key moments, and trending beauty conversations.
  • Collaborate with our in-house creatives to brief, request, and refine assets that feel 100% on-brand.
  • Present cross-functionally for alignment, ensuring every post reflects the ShampooHotel vibe.
  • Track KPIs and industry insights, turning data into smart next moves.
  • Spotlight our partners and explore collaborations that expand our reach.
  • Stay plugged into emerging trends — from TikTok audios to IG aesthetics — and adapt them to SH’s world.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Dream up and pitch new content formats and executions across all key channels.
  • Lead the charge on short-form video: briefing, reviewing, editing, and posting.
  • Produce content yourself — from behind the camera to front of the lens.
  • Support paid campaigns and retail partners with scroll-stopping creative.
  • Capture event and photoshoot energy live, ensuring our digital community gets a front-row seat.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Fluent across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest, and Facebook.
  • Calm under pressure, flexible, and solutions-driven. Strong at problem-solving with a knack for spotting creative opportunities.
  • Skilled in video editing and content production.
  • Organized and project-management savvy.
  • A sharp communicator with an eye for detail.
  • Actively using, or exploring leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.
