Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Associate who lives for outbound prospecting. You'll be the first point of contact with potential clients, identifying opportunities, starting conversations, and closing deals. If you're confident, motivated, and enjoy building relationships through persistence and creativity, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach.
- Identify and qualify prospects that fit Laurie AI's target markets.
- Craft personalized outreach messages to engage decision-makers.
- Follow up consistently and maintain an organized pipeline using our CRM (HubSpot).
- Set qualified meetings or demos.
- Track and report key metrics such as response rates and meetings booked.
- Provide feedback to improve outreach scripts and overall strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales or business development (B2B preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and comfortable handling rejection.
- Strong written English; French is a major plus.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.).
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you're motivated by results, not micromanagement.
