Position Summary
As a Customer Project Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver implementation projects that cover one or more business units. You will manage the global project schedule, issues, and risks, expenses against budget, and communicate project status to stakeholders, internal or external clients, and executive management. We are looking for a Customer Project Manager with strong leadership, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to motivate others through vision, strategic positioning, and leadership qualities.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide a central point of contact for projects and assist in the development of projects from initial conception to final implementation.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope and objectives, and coordinate all aspects of the project, planning, and directing schedules and budgets.
- Able to work in a hybrid environment, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Possess strong skills in budget preparation and forecasting and tracking financial performance against budget.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale implementation projects for clients.
- PMP certification.
- Experience in IT consulting or outsourcing, or one of the big four IT consulting firms, is an asset.
- Experience in planning and implementing large-scale programs and projects involving procurement, software development, infrastructure, logistics, third-party vendors, on-site and off-site personnel, digital and mobile solutions, using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in implementing digital software solutions.
- Able to travel and go on-site for client implementations (up to 30% of the time, mainly in the province of Quebec).
- Proven experience in managing medium to large-sized programs or projects successfully.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as a critical thinking mindset.
- High-level presentation, communication, leadership, collaboration, and human relations skills are required.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Practical professional experience in developing, creating, responding, writing, contributing, and revising requests for information, requests for proposals, proposals, proposal development, project cost estimates, project budgets, and project plans.
- Practical professional experience in managing programs or projects from request for information to launch, planning, execution, management, and control, closure, post-implementation support, and transfer to operations.
- We are looking for motivated, determined, detail-oriented candidates who can work independently, work well under pressure, collaborate, and work tirelessly to find solutions to business challenges and deliver programs and projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
- Training and experience in agile project management (certification is an asset).
- Technical experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) in software, infrastructure, digital, and mobile domains, with quality assurance and version control processes (an asset).
- Advanced-level French and English spoken and written (the role may include communications with the US Head Office).
Additional Qualifications and Skills (an asset)
- Training and experience in agile project management (Agile Project Management) (certification is an asset).
- Technical experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) in software, digital, and mobile domains, with quality assurance and version control processes.

- Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement, from planning to external vendor relationships, including communication, resources, budget, changes, risks, and issues.
- Full project life cycle ownership: project success will include the full implementation of a major initiative or multiple smaller initiatives simultaneously.
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure that the overall implementation is aligned with strategic objectives and contributes directly to their achievement.

- Demonstrate a functional understanding to support how solutions will meet customer objectives while remaining aligned with industry best practices.
