Art Director

Overview

Our gaming and entertainment client is seeking an Art Director / Designer to join their team for a remote, 12+ month freelance opportunity. This will be 40 hours per week, and 100% remote.

You must be located in Montreal, or in the surrounding areas.

It is preferred that you have gaming and/or entertainment experience.

The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a solid foundation in branding, graphic design, and visual narrative. You enjoy collaborating with others, have a keen eye for detail, and produce work that engages audiences. You improve the caliber of campaigns, you also mentor designers while submitting your own designs. You're passionate about games and entertainment, and you want to create visually striking and genuine content.

What you'll do

• Design and direct campaigns, social media, digital advertising, and promotional materials
• Develop and present concepts, style frames, and design explorations
• Lead design direction and execution across digital, web, social, and campaign materials for mobile video games!
• Create graphic design deliverables, including promotional creative, and brand collateral
• Ensure that all visual assets are on-brand and campaign-ready
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, and product teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
• Develop and elevate designers' creative standards by mentoring and guiding
• Improve the look and feel of campaigns and across our portfolios
• Keep up with pop culture, design trends, and gaming aesthetics
• Oversee several projects and fulfill deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Collaborate with the senior director of creative operations and production

To be considered, you must have / be

• Strong branding, typographic, layout, and composition skills
• Familiarity with digital, social, and campaign-level design
• Knowledge of design systems and asset production
• Knowledge of 3D design software and experience with Sketch or Figma are bonuses
