Your Impact

This role goes beyond traditional account management. It’s about being a strategic partner to our clients, translating insights into action, and enabling smart commercial strategies that fuel growth. As a Customer Development Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to our commercial success, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver results and shape the future of our retail presence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
  • Prepare impactful client presentations, including Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts to support production and supply chain planning.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
  • Analyze internal reports, Nielsen data, client insights, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead product launch presentations and ensure successful execution at retail.
  • Negotiate trade programs, agreements, and support planogram optimization.
  • Build and maintain a promotional calendar aligned with brand and business strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Production, Logistics) to meet client needs.
  • Support the retail sales team to maximize their impact on account performance.
  • Ensure tactical execution aligns with strategic plans across departments.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in client management, ideally in the fresh category and CPG.
  • Experience with major retailers.
  • Knowledge of the food industry is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about driving business impact through strategic partnerships.
