Overview
Food Services Manager – Temporary management position in food services within a major law firm. Six-month contract in Montreal. Team supervision, catering coordination, and a variable schedule based on operational needs. Strategic role in a professional bilingual environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage the work of food service and housekeeping staff, including schedules, replacements, and vacations.
- Plan menus with various caterers, place orders, and coordinate equipment rentals when needed.
- Ensure food service during firm meals and events (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, receptions).
- Maintain cleanliness of conference rooms, coffee areas, cafeteria, and lounge at all times.
- Stock coffee stations with food, dishware, and required supplies.
- Ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment and common spaces.
- Manage expenses related to food services.
What you will need to succeed
- Diploma from the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec or equivalent training.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a professional or legal environment.
- Excellent professional communication skills in French and English.
- Bilingual (English and French) to assist clients in both languages.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems quickly.
- Team spirit, proactivity, and adaptability to a changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and common office tools.
