Responsibilities

• Lead the 3D design and integration of EWIS from conceptualization through production, providing senior technical expertise for complex aerospace programs.
• Use CATIA V5 or 3DX (V6) to create, optimize, and manage detailed 3D models of wiring harnesses, including complex routing, bundle segregation, and component placement to meet regulatory and functional requirements.
• Leverage Enovia for full PLM lifecycle management, ensuring data integrity, configuration control, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers; contribute to best practices and a high-performance design culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, constraints, manufacturing) to resolve integration challenges and ensure manufacturability and maintainability of designs.
• Support Design Review Authority activities by presenting design solutions and preparing documentation for regulatory compliance EWIS.

Profile / Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of aerospace experience in 3D EWIS installation.
• Expert in Catia V5 or 3DX (V6) with deep knowledge of electrical design workbenches and harness design.
• Proficient in Enovia with proven experience in managing complex project data, workflows, and configurations.
• Extensive knowledge of EWIS regulations (e.g., FAR, EASA) and industry standards (e.g., SAE).
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to influence design decisions and mentor a team.
• Proactive, detail-oriented; able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of processes to obtain a Design Authority designation; intent to grow into that role.
• Experience with EWIS MRB (Material Review Board) approval is a significant asset.
