The ForgeRock Access Manager QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Access Management solutions through automated and manual testing. This role focuses on testing authentication, authorization, and federation functionalities, designing and executing test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile / DevOps environment. The position requires strong Python programming skills, particularly with pytest, and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for ForgeRock Access Manager functionalities, including authentication, authorization, and federation protocols.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure thorough coverage of Access Manager modules and associated APIs.
  • Write and maintain Python-based automated test scripts using pytest, leveraging Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
  • Test and validate integration of authentication / authorization protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and other industry standards.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira, collaborating with development and product teams for timely resolution.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate actively in Agile / DevOps processes, contributing to team discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of QA experience in Access Management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ForgeRock Access Manager functionalities and modules.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly for test automation using pytest framework.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design.
  • Thorough knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and LDAP.
  • Experience with integration testing, performance testing, and security testing in the context of Access Management.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with additional testing frameworks and automation tools.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT security policies and best practices.

Certifications

Relevant QA, Python, or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
