Responsibilities

• Work on existing and new initiatives within the Negative News suite of applications, including customizations for evolving business needs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy code following SDLC standards.
• Communicate effectively with global teams, adapt rapidly, and learn quickly.
• Apply sound judgment to understand complex business use cases and design appropriate solutions.
• Leverage team strengths for application success.

Financial domain knowledge and understanding of AML and Customer Risk ranking quantitative methodologies are advantageous.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and advanced Java, Spring Boot, RESTful / Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON
• Strong database design skills including SQL, procedures, and query tuning
• Service design concepts, OO and functional development
• Agile development methodologies
• DevOps tools and practices
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
• Microservices concepts and high-quality software architecture and design methodologies (SOA)
• Ability to read and create design and process flow diagrams
• Linux and scripting (e.g., PERL, Python)
• Angular UI is a plus

Capgemini technology stack includes Java, Spring, Angular, Apache / Tomcat, Hadoop, DB2, with vendor software and open source Java technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and related libraries. The team uses agile practices including Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
