3D Modeler

Overview

M2L creates custom cabinets and furniture. We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Modeler to join our dynamic team to create sketches for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D modeling and design, with experience in various software applications. As a 3D Modeler, you will be responsible for creating detailed models that meet project specifications and contribute to the overall design vision. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Duties

• Create high-quality 3D models using industry-standard software tools.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed schematics and drafting plans that align with project goals.
• Utilize software such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks to produce accurate models.
• Participate in the mechanical design process by providing input on functionality and aesthetics.
• Conduct revisions based on feedback from team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with the final product.
• Assist in the creation of 2D animations to visually represent designs and concepts.
• Maintain organized files and documentation throughout the modeling process.

Skills

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software including SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.
• Experience in drafting and creating schematics for various projects.
• Ability to produce high-quality CAD drawings that meet industry standards.
• Familiarity with animation techniques for creating engaging visual presentations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
