We are a rapidly growing haircare and styling startup seeking a driven, enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. With a strong digital presence, a well-established e-commerce platform, and professional distribution across North America as well as international markets, our brand is well-positioned for continued growth and global reach.

Role Overview

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social connection, thrives on making new friends, and is always the first to know what's trending in beauty and social media. This role is perfect for an energetic person who is passionate about bringing events to life and fostering authentic relationships with influencers, stylists, and creators.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Marketing (70%)

  • Identify, outreach, and build strong, lasting relationships with influencers, content creators, hairstylists, and brand partners across North America.
  • Execute influencer gifting/seeding strategies with a strong emphasis on engagement and authentic conversion.
  • Coordinate contracts, briefs, product shipments, and deliverables for paid and organic collaborations.
  • Track and analyze influencer content performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay ahead of influencer trends, platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and emerging voices within the beauty and lifestyle space.

Events & Activations (30%)

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute brand events including pop-ups, stylist meetups, trade shows, retail activations, and launch parties.
  • Bring events to life with energy and enthusiasm, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and engaged.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution from ideation to post-event wrap-up.
  • Source venues, manage budgets, timelines, guest lists, and event materials.
  • Participate hands-on during events, including setting up decor, carrying/organizing products, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Develop creative, memorable experiences that drive brand awareness and strengthen community engagement.
  • Support PR and marketing initiatives through event alignment and participation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing, events, or brand partnerships—preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or CPG.
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms, digital content trends, and creator communities.
  • A true people-person: outgoing, bubbly, and excited to form new friendships and connections.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets and working cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and brand alignment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

Additional Requirements

  • Prior experience in hair/beauty or fashion content is preferred.
  • Preferred location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (You will be invited to an in-person interview for the final round.)
  • Familiarity with content workflows.
  • Bonus: Background or connections in professional hairstyling, salons, or beauty education.
