Position Overview

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with a refined aesthetic sensibility and a strong point of view. This role calls for more than technical skill—it requires an eye for art direction, an understanding of contemporary culture, and the ability to create visuals that feel both timeless and on-trend.

From digital campaigns and brand identities to packaging, publications, and web design, you’ll shape experiences that resonate with premium audiences. You’ll draw inspiration from fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and culture, translating concepts into visuals that are elevated, cohesive, and unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Art Direction & Aesthetic Vision – Elevate ideas through strong visual storytelling, ensuring every design aligns with Teakie’s boutique, modern aesthetic.
  • Brand Identity – Create logos, brand systems, and guidelines that capture mood, style, and essence with sophistication.
  • Digital Design – Design engaging social content, email campaigns, and digital assets that connect with audiences visually and emotionally.
  • Print Design – Develop packaging, marketing materials, and editorial layouts that balance functionality with beauty.
  • Web & UI Design – Create intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences in collaboration with developers.
  • Multi-Industry Design – Apply your design skills across industries such as fashion, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and luxury, adapting style without losing refinement.
  • Creative Collaboration – Partner with strategists, copywriters, and the studio team to bring holistic brand visions to life.
  • Quality Control – Uphold Teakie’s high design standards, ensuring every detail is polished, precise, and intentional.
  • Trend Awareness – Stay attuned to design, cultural, and digital trends, bringing fresh perspective to the studio.
  • Multi-Brand Approach – Balance design for high-end clients with Teakie’s growing portfolio of in-house brands.

Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience – 3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or boutique creative industries.
  • Portfolio – A strong body of work that demonstrates aesthetic sensibility, range across digital / print / web, and ability to design for premium audiences.
  • Art Direction – Ability to shape creative direction and bring ideas to life visually, from moodboards to final execution.
  • Tools – Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Web Design – Experience with UI / UX best practices; HTML / CSS knowledge is an asset.
  • Attention to Detail – A meticulous eye for typography, composition, and finish.
  • Collaboration – Strong communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly across teams.
  • High-End Clientele – Experience designing for boutique or luxury brands is a strong asset.
  • Languages – English / French bilingualism is an asset.
