Job Title : Product Designer (Footwear)

We are a global fashion brand of footwear and handbags seeking an experienced creative talent to join our in-house product development team. The Footwear Design team of the CIS ladies’ division creates a core part of the fashion collection reflecting the brand’s spirit. We are looking for a passionate Footwear Designer who possesses technical and creative skills to execute product designs, catering to our Gen Z consumer.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and interpret key trends and mood board creation.
• Develop styling that is brand right and appropriate for the season.
• Translate ideas into technical sketches.
• Produce technical packages and details for designs.
• Correct prototypes and final samples for the collection.
• Help create and implement seasonal design calendars and meet appropriate deadlines.
• Hold informed discussions with line builders to discuss the collection building based on requirements.
• Responsible for daily correspondence with overseas vendors.
• Strong presentation skills for seasonal collection release.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design.
• 5-7 years of experience in Footwear Design.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent technical sketching abilities.
• Keen sense of fashion, trends, and pop culture.
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Great multitasker and problem solver.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and disposition.
• Management skills is an asset.
• Creative thinker with a business mindset.
