Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Montreal office.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and close sales by researching the market and cultivating your own personal network.
- Maintain close contact with the technical team, external professionals, and associations to identify and develop business leads through referrals.
- Manage the entire sales process for all business leads.
- Identify decision-makers, schedule meetings for qualified prospects, and execute appropriate sales techniques and cycles to close sales.
- Identify and understand prospects’ business climates, challenges, strategic needs.
- Develop a true-value proposal to positively impact opportunities.
- Manage relationships with existing customers.
- Work with management to develop sales/marketing strategies and penetrate new markets.
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics/Finance, engineering, or tax-related experience.
- 3-5 years of sales experience or a minimum of 2 years selling consulting services to mid-market clients. Prior work experience with a large consulting firm is a plus.
- A proven track record using a sales methodology to generate business leads, open doors, and manage the sales cycle.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, independent thinker, and a strong sense of initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of business integrity and ethics.
- Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce) is preferred.

Total compensation consists of a base salary and commission opportunities. Final pay is influenced by a range of factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, educational achievements, and location.
