Responsabilités
Under the responsibility of the team leader, Corporate Communications and Strategic Content, the content strategist plays a key role in BRP's corporate communications team by planning and overseeing the execution of the overall communication strategy to help achieve company goals and strengthen its unique culture. You will leverage your expertise and experience by providing dedicated support (consultative role) to various company functions in developing and implementing communication plans to promote their programs and projects. This permanent position will be based in Montreal, Sherbrooke, or Valcourt.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
- Contribute to the development and implementation of communication plans supporting various projects across departments to ensure target achievement.
- Develop and execute communication strategies and content that ensure message consistency and coherence for internal and external audiences, especially during product launches, programs, events, and special projects.
- Advise partners on strategies, tactics, messages, and channels for announcements to managers and employees.
- Ensure the relevance, alignment, and quality of the company's website content, contributing to content writing.
- Write engaging and relevant content for various internal and external communication tools.
- Regularly evaluate and measure communication effectiveness and implement new approaches to improve engagement.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :
- Bachelor's degree in communication or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience, mainly in organizational communication.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including unilingual English speakers outside Quebec.
- Spanish language skills (an asset).
- Strong strategic advisory and change management skills.
- Experience in content strategy, intranet/platform implementation, and web content writing (highly desired).
- Excellent writing and ability to simplify complex topics.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, multitask environment with tight and changing deadlines.
- Organizational, planning, and delegation skills.
- Exceptional teamwork, relationship-building, trust, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to see the big picture and consider cultural factors in messaging.
- Attention to detail, discernment, empathy, enthusiasm, determination, and creativity.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Mailchimp (a plus).
