Job Summary

This role supports the Distributed Control Office (DCO) and broader team in developing and enhancing risk and control frameworks specific to Technology, Information Security, and Cyber Security. A key focus is on controls related to Distributed Ledger Technologies (Crypto), including authoring controls to mitigate associated risks. The role involves stakeholder engagement, control testing, reporting, and supporting risk and control assessments across the Technology domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the DCO and team in developing or enhancing risk and control changes specific to Technology, Information Security, or Cyber Security.
  • Focus on controls related to Distributed Ledger Technologies (Crypto) and author controls to mitigate associated risks.
  • Maintain a view of risks, controls, and supporting artifacts including governance content, issues, and action plans.
  • Assist in creating risk and control change artifacts or content.
  • Manage stakeholder communications to ensure timely messaging to internal and external parties.
  • Provide program or operational support to deliver agreed risk and control activities.
  • Support Technology control testing and control measurement development.
  • Support the Firm's risk and control assessment process (RCSA) to understand impacts on Technology controls.
  • Produce Technology risk or control reporting/commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Analyze risk and control indicators and escalate issues for management attention.
  • Engage local stakeholders in execution and collection of risk or control information.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Distributed Ledger Technologies (Crypto) and understanding of associated risks.
  • Awareness of financial legislation and regulations impacting technology risk and control management.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ITIL, CobiT, and ISO 27001.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Experience writing Technology policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and delivery-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
