The Position

Business Development Manager

  • Head Office Location: Laval (QC)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities; introduce new products and services to existing clients for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Meet with decision-makers to discuss requirements and analyze client technologies, network infrastructure and support systems
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to increase business efficiencies and productivity while controlling costs to manage, secure and improve client systems
  • Contribute to a value-based, consultative, customer-focused sales approach and meet or exceed revenue and profitability objectives

Qualifications

  • College or university education in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B IT sales experience with a proven track record
  • Fully bilingual, written and spoken (French and English) with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills, positive attitude, self-discipline, motivation and ambition to succeed
  • Great listener with a solid work ethic and knowledge of a sales process
  • Ability to position technology and services to the client’s business requirements; responsiveness and empathy
  • Working knowledge of standard office applications and social media platforms
