JMJ Evolution is seeking for Engine Mechanics for permanent position in Dorval.

Description :

  • Replacement of various jet engine components and modules, i.e. high or low pressure compressor (HPC / LPC), high or low pressure turbine (HPT / LPT), fan blades etc.
  • Disassembly and assembly of jet engine modules
  • Inspection, replacement or repair of worn, defective, or damaged components, using special tooling, gauges, and testing equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting procedures to solve technical problems of jet engines and write technical reports
  • Inspect, repair, replace and change jet engine components on wing and in-situation

Requirements :

  • DEC in Aircraft Maintenance, essential
  • Computer skills, MS Office
  • Experience working with whole engine of wing
  • Experience on the CFM56-5A / B; -7B
  • Or experience on the V2500 engine
  • Borescope inspection, an asset
  • Knowledge of the relevant methods of measuring and cracks inspection
  • Mechanical Skills : Engine mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of engines, as well as the tools to fix them
  • Technical Skills : Need to be familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs
  • Manual Dexterity : Good hands and great hand-eye coordination
  • Troubleshooting Skills : Need to be able to look at engine components, identify problems, and think about possible solutions
  • Knowledge of relevant airworthiness standards, regulatory requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills, problem solving oriented mind set
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Open to work flexible schedules
  • One to three (1 to 3) years experience on jet engines
