JMJ Evolution is seeking for Engine Mechanics for permanent position in Dorval.
Description :
- Replacement of various jet engine components and modules, i.e. high or low pressure compressor (HPC / LPC), high or low pressure turbine (HPT / LPT), fan blades etc.
- Disassembly and assembly of jet engine modules
- Inspection, replacement or repair of worn, defective, or damaged components, using special tooling, gauges, and testing equipment
- Perform troubleshooting procedures to solve technical problems of jet engines and write technical reports
- Inspect, repair, replace and change jet engine components on wing and in-situation
Requirements :
- DEC in Aircraft Maintenance, essential
- Computer skills, MS Office
- Experience working with whole engine of wing
- Experience on the CFM56-5A / B; -7B
- Or experience on the V2500 engine
- Borescope inspection, an asset
- Knowledge of the relevant methods of measuring and cracks inspection
- Mechanical Skills : Engine mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of engines, as well as the tools to fix them
- Technical Skills : Need to be familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs
- Manual Dexterity : Good hands and great hand-eye coordination
- Troubleshooting Skills : Need to be able to look at engine components, identify problems, and think about possible solutions
- Knowledge of relevant airworthiness standards, regulatory requirements
- Good interpersonal skills, problem solving oriented mind set
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Open to work flexible schedules
- One to three (1 to 3) years experience on jet engines
