Overview

Calling all marketing experts! We are expanding our team with a marketing manager. The manager will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase Lolë’s brand awareness, generate leads and drive sales. This person loves fashion, retail, and leading a brand to its next level of success. The Marketing Manager will act as a strategic leader, driving the company's marketing efforts, ensuring brand consistency, and ultimately contributing to the company's overall success. Key responsibilities will include campaign development and execution, social media strategy, data analysis, retail/wholesale and product marketing management. This position sits within the Brand & Creative Marketing department, reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand and Creative Marketing.

The role is a full-time position based at the Lolë headquarters in Montreal, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, analyze competitor activities, and assess market trends.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop framework for tracking marketing performance; Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • PR and Social Media Management: Oversee the social media team and manage content strategy to ensure high-quality marketing content, social media updates (in line with brand seasonal concepts and direction); Lead PR agency and provide oversight on strategy and execution.
  • Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination: Team oversight includes: Creative brand manager, graphic leads and the social media department aligning the team with the overarching brand direction set by the Sr. Brand and Creative Director. The manager will be responsible for the timely delegation of tasks to ensure the upkeep of deadlines, development of internal and act as the connector between the team and Sr. Director.
  • As a cross-functional position, the manager will work closely liaising between departments (sales, product development, merchandiser and creative team) to ensure fluid communication and that all marketing efforts align with overall business objectives.
  • Staying Up to Date: Keeping abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills Required

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and French preferred, as our content is published in both languages for an international audience).
  • Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance, with 5 – 7 years’ experience with progressive growth in a marketing-related role.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing technologies, such as marketing frameworks, editorial calendars, marketing automation platforms, and social media management tools.
