Senior Consultant, Human Resources (Technology) – Intact, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Consultant to support our Technology teams. In this role, you will be a strategic consultant to senior leaders and their teams for one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing financial services companies. You will play a leadership advisory role, continually assessing and anticipating the needs and impacts of your business partners, helping to drive change and connecting our teams and people to our strategy. You will play a lead role in talent identification, management, and coaching of your business partners promoting a strong and engaged culture.
Location : Montreal, Quebec, Canada
What You’ll Do Here
- Provide professional coaching and human resources guidance and advice to our business partners, considering market best practices, strategic and organizational context while being aligned with the laws, regulations, and organizational values.
- Work with business partners to conduct needs analysis and identify talent management strategies that drive strong organizational structure, proactive resource planning and development and retention of individuals throughout the company.
- Develop long-term, comprehensive picture of the organization’s people goals and identify methods and opportunities to achieving those goals.
- Lead projects and support our ongoing transformation and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.
- Challenge the status quo by analyzing the facts, asking questions, adding new perspectives, and thinking strategically.
- Curiosity to seek to understand and respond to complex questions related to all areas of human resources including but not limited to disability management, engagement, compensation, talent, and performance management.
- Facilitate the deployment of our people strategies and initiatives led by the Centre of Expertise.
- Conduct investigations and assist managers in conflict management and other issues.
What You Bring To The Table
- University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a HR Business Partner in similar and complex work environment.
- CHRP and/or CHRL designation completed or in progress.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business and culture drivers and translate them into critical talent strategies and initiatives.
- Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills with all levels of management.
- Proven track record of raising leadership awareness, cultivating engagement, and creating alignment across teams and levels within the company.
- A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing organizational environment, high tolerance for ambiguity with motivation to bring clarity and confidence.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
