Overview

The Senior Director of Events & Brand Experiences will lead the strategy, design, and execution of all experiential events initiatives across our brand portfolio. This includes consumer-facing activations, trade events, and influencer/PR activities. The ideal candidate is a high-level strategist and hands-on executor with deep expertise in experiential marketing, luxury events execution, and brand storytelling. You will collaborate with brand teams, marketing, sales, creative, PR, and external partners to ensure every brand event embodies its unique essence while delivering measurable impact. This role reports directly to the COO but in close collaboration with all the key departments in the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and oversee the annual event strategy and calendar across all brands and channels (B2C, B2B, PR).
  • Create an integrated approach to event-based brand storytelling, ensuring alignment with overall business and marketing goals.
  • Serve as the internal center of excellence for experiential and brand engagement strategy.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and execution of events including product launches, influencer activations, trade shows, and pop-ups.
  • Review and approve all event concepts and plans proposed by internal teams to ensure excellence and alignment with brand identity.
  • Identify and negotiate with external vendors, agencies, venues, and production partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with brand marketing, sales, PR, education, and creative teams to amplify brand positioning through live experiences.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring a cohesive approach to all events.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations to ensure compliant, cost-effective execution.
  • Build and lead a high-performing events team, including event managers, producers, designers, and contractors.
  • Mentor and develop team members with an emphasis on creativity, accountability, and excellence.

Measurement & Innovation

  • Define and track KPIs to evaluate event success, brand lift, ROI, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and cultural shifts to continuously elevate brand experiences.
  • Introduce sustainable and inclusive practices in event design and execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in event marketing or experiential brand leadership, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-brand event portfolios on a scale.
  • Demonstrated success by creating high-impact consumer, trade, and influencer experiences.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong eye for aesthetics and brand storytelling; ability to translate brand DNA into physical experiences.
  • Experience managing budgets and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field (MBA a plus).
