Job Title : Delivery Services Specialist

Role Summary
Reporting to the Delivery Services Manager, the Delivery Services Specialist will ensure exceptional last-mile delivery services that meet customer expectations and adhere to Nespresso’s standards. The role involves driving innovative, sustainable solutions and managing daily operations of last-mile delivery and transportation for the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Innovation
- Lead delivery service innovations and project initiatives to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams to optimize distribution networks and maintain high service levels.
- Manage B2C parcel operations, liaising with logistics providers and carriers, and drive continuous improvement.
- Plan seasonality, establish KPIs, conduct cost analyses, and implement cost-saving measures.
Parcel Operations & Vendor Management
- Oversee daily parcel operations and vendor relationships, ensuring performance standards.
- Conduct regular reviews, performance assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cost Analysis & Savings
- Analyze variable distribution expenses, report findings, and recommend savings strategies.
- Use simulations and reports to identify efficiencies, optimize lead times, and mitigate compliance risks.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French.
- 4-8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution, with D2C and last-mile expertise.
- Ecommerce or retail experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement.
- Experience in fast-paced, global matrix organizations and project leadership.
- Proficiency with logistics systems and external vendor management.
