SpaceBridge Inc. is currently seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join our team in Montreal, QC. This role involves developing embedded software for satellite return link subsystems, satellite modems, and integrated satellite hub communication equipment. The successful candidate will work on innovative products in the field of Satellite Communications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time embedded software using high-level programming languages.
• Innovate in the IP networking domain.
• Implement best practices in software development.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel programming and satellite communications is a plus.
• Support the preparation of the Technology Roadmap.
• Mentor and guide other software engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) on requirements.
• Monitor project progress and report to management.
• Support other teams as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in embedded software development.
• Expertise in Linux, networking, and C / C++ programming.
• Strong skills in low-level system development and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work independently on complex projects.
