WHO YOU ARE :

We are currently looking for an Assistant Designer to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Design Team Lead, the Assistant Designer will assist in the creation and development of all designs aligned with the Ardene brand and concept direction.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Support the entire product design process;
  • Assist in the development and execution of product designs aligned with the overall product strategy and merchandise objectives;
  • Research global markets to identify emerging trends, fabrics, and techniques relevant to the Ardene customer and brand;
  • Participate in fit sessions as needed and approve production elements related to design (fabric, trim, color);
  • Support the presentation of seasonal lines, providing insights aligned with market trends and business strategy;
  • Analyze sales data to support business objectives;
  • Perform other tasks/projects as required.

What You’ll Need :

  • Experience in a fashion retail environment is a strong asset;
  • College degree in Fashion Design or related experience;
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Strong fashion sense and trend translation skills;
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments;
  • Attention to detail and results-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload.
