Arobas Personnel is currently looking for an E-Commerce QA Tester to join one of our clients for a contract position based in Montreal .
- 100% remote, must work with EDT time zone
What will your daily responsibilities include?
Write, execute, and maintain manual test cases for functional and regression validation. Perform regression testing prior to each release cycle. Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to define, design, and deliver new features. Test digital platforms, APIs, subsystems, and their supporting technical infrastructure. Analyze project documentation to design test cases and scripts. Participate in test execution and defect resolution . Write, revise, and ensure adherence to quality standards . Define test strategies , testing approaches, and test environment setups. Prepare test data and maintain comprehensive test documentation. Create test plans, detailed test cases, release notes, logs, and reports based on requirements. Keep QA documentation current across sprints and release cycles. Propose and implement improvements to QA processes and methodologies. What we're looking for :
Experience in companies with over 10,000 employees . 5+ years of QA experience with strong understanding of IT principles, testing methodologies, and execution. Proven track record in developing and executing test plans from analysis to sprint delivery. 2+ years of experience in e-commerce environments using Agile methodologies . Familiarity with cloud-based technologies . Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills. A team player with a sense of urgency and accountability toward timelines. Nice-to-haves (Assets) :
Experience with tools such as Cypress , Playwright , BrowserStack , Robot Framework , Gherkin , and TestRail . Knowledge of UI testing , Accessibility (A11y) , API testing , and Magento e-commerce platforms. Experience in the manufacturing , transportation , automotive , or aerospace industries. Background working in multisite , multinational , or international organizations . Language Requirements :
