Role Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Game Programmer to join our team. In this role, you'll leverage your knowledge to build and maintain advanced systems and tools, as well as optimize workflows.

In This Role, You Can Expect To

  • Code Craftsmanship: Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code for gameplay features or UI elements, adhering to high coding standards and best practices.
  • Team Synergy: Collaborate, review, and grow with your team through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Problem Solver: Debug, optimize, and resolve complex software issues to enhance products.
  • Clear Communication: Maintain documentation and communicate progress and challenges effectively.

  • Tooling Excellence: Build tools that improve workflows for artists, designers, and programmers, integrating seamlessly into content pipelines.
  • Strategic Impact: Review feature designs, provide input on costs and alternatives, and manage tasks to meet deadlines.

To Be Successful In This Role, Your Background Includes

  • Over 3 years in software development in online gaming, with a Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent.
  • Strong programming skills in C# and experience with source control systems like GIT or Perforce.
  • Proficiency with Unity, and experience with other game engines is a plus.
  • Experience in mobile development for Android and iOS, with familiarity in UI frameworks such as Unity GUI or NGUI.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, and ability to work effectively in Agile or Kanban environments.
  • Experience in profiling, troubleshooting, and optimizing game performance is a bonus.
