Job Summary:

The Senior Full Stack Developer will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining over 40 internal applications supporting animated feature films, episodic series, commercials, and virtual reality content. Responsibilities include code reviews, enforcing best practices, training junior developers, organizing end-user support, and proposing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Support a team creating custom software tools for various productions.
• Design and develop new features using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
• Organize testing and deployment of systems.
• Maintain existing production systems, including older Ruby on Rails and SQL stacks.
• Collaborate with internal clients (artists, leads, management).
• Implement workflows as per leadership directives.
• Communicate effectively with clients of diverse technical backgrounds.
• Manage support queues and handle multiple requests.
• Work primarily in a Linux environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher in software engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in web or software development.
• Strong requirements gathering skills.
• Data-driven problem-solving approach.
• Ability to design scalable, flexible data models.
• Focus on maintainable code.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Relational Models.
• Proficiency with Git, Node.js, React, Typescript, REST APIs, Linux, Docker.
• Understanding of UI / UX principles.
• Experience with test-driven development and scalable systems.
• Strong communication and planning skills.

Additional useful experience includes dashboards and indexes (e.g., ELK stack, Grafana).
