Job Summary:
The Field Service Engineer maintains ScriptPro’s computer-based technology and automation equipment at customer sites, nationally and worldwide. This role involves extensive travel, including long-distance driving and air travel, with all travel points accrued by the employee.

Supervisor, Field Service
Shift:
Generally, a rotating schedule of 9 days on, 5 days off. Overtime is typical and paid. Punctual and predictable attendance is essential.
Scope of the Role:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment onsite and remotely.
- Provide training and support to pharmacy staff.
- Diagnose workflow issues and optimize system performance.
- Travel constitutes 80% or more of the job, including long-distance driving and air travel.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 lbs unassisted, team lifting up to 120 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 800 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for 6-8 hours daily.
- Remain available and responsive via phone 24/7 during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with computer systems repair and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Knowledge of IT and Windows OS (NT/XP/7/8/10).
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs daily, including during travel.
- Flexible to work as needed and assigned.
- Maturity, integrity, organizational, and customer service skills.
Compensation:
Starting at $24/hour or $50K annually, with overtime and bonuses. Canadian employees receive $2.50/hour in lieu of benefits. Final compensation depends on education, experience, skills, and location.
Pre-Employment Conditions:
Security clearances, background checks, and health tests (including vaccines) are required for access to customer sites. Exemptions considered for religious or medical reasons.
Working Conditions:
Combination of office and workshop environments. Exposure to dust, odors, fumes, noise, mechanical parts, electrical components, and outdoor conditions. Requires active movement, manual dexterity, and visual acuity. Ability to learn and solve practical problems is essential.
