Seasoned Marketer | Creative Strategist | Brand Builder
Qualifications :
- Relevant post-secondary diploma in education, recreation, youth development, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience organizing student or youth programs, preferably in a school or camp setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and independently manage multiple projects.
- Enthusiasm for working with youth and fostering a positive school climate.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
Key Responsibilities :
- Student Programming & Engagement
- Plan, organize, and promote school-wide student events, assemblies, and co-curricular programs.
- Support the development and supervision of student clubs, councils, and leadership initiatives, including the student newspaper.
- Facilitate student involvement in school spirit and culture-building activities.
- Coordinate logistics for guest speakers, workshops, and special events, including organizing Shabbatonim, Sukkot trips, Chanukah and Purim events.
- Act as the school liaison for regional tournaments, coordinating schedules and communication with external league organizers.
- Support internal logistics for team sports, including transportation, supervision, uniforms, and facility bookings.
- Collaborate with coaches to enhance the student-athlete experience through spirit events and team-building.
- Organize school-hosted tournaments or athletic events.
- Cultivate leadership, team building, and respectful communication aligned with the school's values.
Administrative & Communication Duties :
- Maintain calendars, budgets, and inventory for student life programming.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding upcoming events.
- Gather feedback to continually improve programming.
- Ensure activities are inclusive, age-appropriate, and aligned with the school's mission and values.
