Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.

FUNCTION & DUTIES :

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources and Payroll, the Coordinator will have the following responsibilities, among others :

  • Identify, promote, and implement occupational integration strategies for all employees to improve the quality of services offered and foster harmonious professional development for all.
  • Actively participate in Kativik Ilisarniliriniq's Recruitment-Retention Committee by coordinating the cataloguing of all occupational integration strategies as well as analyzing, classifying, and adding them to a program.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the organization's current statistical portrait of recruitment and retention.
  • Recommend new occupational integration initiatives depending on the evolving needs of Kativik Ilisarniliriniq and participate in their implementation when applicable.
  • Provide an analysis of the existing competency profiles for the various job classes (teacher, professional, support staff, management) and tailor them to the needs of the organization.
  • Partake in the development of medium- and long-term occupational integration plans tailored to each job class, taking into account the level of individuals holding those positions.
  • Coordinate any organizational initiatives related to occupational integration (orientation week, induction days, etc.).
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit interviews and surveys.
  • Participate in every professional development committee and manage their respective budgets in accordance with existing collective agreements and directives.
  • Develop partnerships with colleges / CEGEPs, universities, private companies, and local community organizations.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date database on employee skills progression.
  • Devise performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of occupational integration programs and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Promote occupational integration activities by proposing and planning strategies to increase visibility and create a culture of continuous learning.
  • Carry out any other relevant tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Hold an undergraduate diploma in an appropriate field attesting to a minimum of three (3) years of study or hold a management position or senior management position.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience. The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the aforementioned qualifications if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official working languages of the school board (Inuktitut, French, and English).
  • Experience working within a school board.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Knowledge of Inuit culture.
  • Available to travel to Nunavik.
  • Experience in the development of tools and training platforms (asset).
  • Knowledge of the prior learning recognition process based on skills (asset).

CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS :

Class 00-08

  • as per the working conditions of managers at Kativik Ilisarniliriniq: from $101,612 to $135,480 annually depending on qualifications and experience. All benefits are granted based on the percentage of the task. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for benefits such as :
