Your role
Reporting to the Director, Business and Strategic Planning, you play a pivotal role in planning, developing and executing change management strategies for large-scale transformation projects.
As an expert adviser, you will provide crucial support to various departments, helping them analyze impacts, develop tailored plans and implement concrete solutions. Your ultimate goal will be to facilitate the adoption of change across all levels of the organization. You will also be expected to build strong professional relationships and foster a trusting environment, which will be essential for effective problem-solving and gaining buy-in for change initiatives.
You will work closely with internal communications teams, business leaders and departmental advocates to empower them to become true change agents and ensure the smooth adoption of new initiatives across all components.
Key responsibilities :
- Identify stakeholders and assess the business impacts of transformation projects.
- Define, plan and execute change management strategies in conjunction with project teams.
- Develop and manage change management activity plans (communications, training, engagement, support, etc.).
- Gather, understand and address stakeholder concerns effectively.
- Create, activate and facilitate networks of change ambassadors.
- Help develop implementation support strategies to maximize buy-in for new solutions.
- Help design and deliver communications related to transformation projects.
- Gauge the progress of change adoption at different project phases and adjust approaches as needed.
- Support teams during transition and closing phases, helping solidify the benefits of the changes.
What you bring :
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, change management, organizational development or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Five (5) or more years’ experience in a similar role or in organizational transformation in a cross-functional context.
- Proven experience managing large-scale strategic projects, ideally in a digital transformation environment.
Required skills and qualifications :
- Strong understanding of organizational development and change management concepts.
- Ability to quickly grasp organizational challenges and propose suitable solutions.
- Strong ability to analyze, synthesize and simplify complex information.
- Influential leadership and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to navigate complex environments and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Talent in facilitation, active listening and group dynamics management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of digital environments and media operations is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English / French) is an asset.
