Vertex Technologies Canada Inc. (VTCI) is looking for a Training Coordinator to support learning programs and events. The person who fills this position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistics support for learning events supported by VTCI. The ideal candidate for this position will build rapport with team members and customers quickly and easily, be flexible / adapt to changing business needs, and possess excellent business communication skills.
Additionally, a successful candidate will possess exemplary attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités clés
- Manage coordination of high-priority or complex training programs with minimal supervision.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and optimize standard work processes across projects.
- Serve as primary liaison for key stakeholders and suppliers for issue resolution and process alignment.
- Analyze and present evaluation and attendance data to support decision-making.
- Train junior coordinators and share best practices across the team.
- Champion innovation in training delivery methods or tools (e.g., LMS use, microlearning logistics).
- Take a lead role in significant cross-unit initiatives or pilot programs.
- Ensure compliance and maintain strong supplier performance.
- Demonstrates leadership and autonomy in coordination responsibilities.
- Proactively identifies gaps and improvement opportunities in training operations.
- Builds trusted relationships with business units and acts as a go-to expert within the team.
Compétences requises
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in training coordination, project support, or similar operational roles.
Éducation requise
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Compétences souhaitées
- Previous experience planning events (ideally training events) for internal and/or external customers.
- Experience with business Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to identify areas for continuous improvement in the work environment and processes.
- Experience training customers to use applications or tools, and/or other facilitation experience.
Remarque
- This is an on-site position, with possibility of hybrid work based on needs.
- Overtime and work on weekends/evenings may be required for class set up/tear down and other event support.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is an essential function of this job.
