Ubisoft IT is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT), part of the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO). This team focuses on creating immersive gaming experiences by analyzing player behaviors and motivations through qualitative and quantitative methods.

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will design tools and methods to collect, organize, and evaluate critical data to support game development and enhance player experiences.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of production teams to gather relevant data for project development.
• Design data solutions supporting game analytics using technologies such as Spark, SQL, Hive, Elasticsearch, and others, along with DevOps practices and tools like Git.
• Explore, test, and deploy new technologies to expand your knowledge.
• Create and optimize data collection processes tailored to analysis teams' needs.
• Ensure data integrity by developing appropriate tools.
• Collaborate closely with data analyst teams to provide essential information and anticipate data collection needs during project development.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to share information and knowledge effectively.
• Maintain attention to detail for accurate and reliable data processing.
• Work effectively across departments, including online solutions and data visualization teams.
• Demonstrate a solid foundation in data management, software development, and computer science.
• Possess hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Understand CI / CD processes using tools like Git and GitLab CI.
• Have expertise in big data technologies like Spark, Hive, and Hadoop, supported by relevant training and adaptability.
